It’s that time of year again . . . when we select our very best blog posts from the preceding year. Amazingly enough, this will be our 6th annual version of this post. That’s a lot of blog posts to have chosen from; but, we try to exercise our very best judgment, each and every year. Just forty-four years on, and we’ll have tied Rudolph himself for longevity.
As we have always done, we will once again select the best post from each month of the past year, as an homage to the ‘Twelve Days of Christmas’. You may apply the tune, as you wish it:
January – ‘How Suite It Is: Free Alternatives to Microsoft Office’ (by Jeffrey Clark)
February – ‘Oh, Baby: Preparing for Maternity and Family Leave as a Solo Practitioner’ (by Alison Silber)
March – ‘Data Protection on the Go: Security Tips for iPhone Users’ (by Heidi)
April – ‘Achieving “Inbox Zero”: Email Management Tips’ (by Heidi)
May – ‘An Easier Way to Find Pro Bono Projects (And Some Health and Happiness)’ (by Rachel Casper)
June – ‘From iPads to High Heels: What Attorneys Can Learn from Apple and Zappos’ (via Jack Newton)
July – ‘Aspirational Passwords: Change Your (Log-In) Habits’ (by Jared)
August – ‘Law of Inertia: Change Management Within Law Firms’ (by Jared)
September – ‘Five Best Practice Referral Marketing Tips’ (by Heidi)
October – ‘Closing a Small Practice: The Short List’ (by Heidi)
November – ‘Secure Your Data, Part 1: An Update on the Massachusetts Data Privacy Laws’ (by Heidi)
December – ‘Law Practice Management Lessons Learned from Serial’s M. Chrsitina Gutierrez’ (by Heidi)
Continue to follow us this year, when we will continue to provide law practice management tips weekly through our blog.
And, if you’re still ensconced in the Christmas spirit, attend our 1st annual LOMAP holiday party on January 8, where we will livestream a webinar from Ernie Svenson on going paperless. All of food, drink and networking will abound.

What’s stuck in my head this Christmas?
Blue Christmas’ by Elvis Presley
An excellent cover of a song attached to many excellent covers. Or, anything from this album.
