SuperMom is a collaboration of Lawyers Concerned for Lawyers + WBA Mothers’ Forum.
Babies don’t care if you’re a lawyer. And unfortunately, some of your clients and all of your deadlines don’t care if you’re a mom.
On the bright side, at some point your kids might develop some appreciation for your profession. Until that happens, simultaneously fulfilling two demanding roles won’t be easy. But there will be help.
We designed our newest group to help you manage the practical and emotional challenges you face as a mother practicing law. LCL’s Heidi Alexander, Esq. and Barbara Bowe, LICSW are fusing the forces of practice management services with psychology to offer comprehensive guidance, along with the support of the Women’s Bar Association’s Mothers’ Forum.
Come to our intro session on September 28th from 12 to 1pm to learn more. You’ll even leave with a few tools of your own for handling some of the common challenges we face as working moms (read: SuperMom). Put your needs first for once; consider this an oxygen mask. Register here now. (It’s easier than tasking it for later!)
This is a free and confidential group. Future meetings will be held twice each month, on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays. You can attend at our office in downtown Boston or online. We will meet for 60 minutes, beginning promptly at noon, but completely understand if you need to come in late – it isn’t easy being SuperMom!
If you have any questions or concerns about the group, contact our resident SuperMom, Heidi Alexander.
