About the Expert

Charity Anastasio is the director of Law Office Management Assistance at the Maryland State Bar Association (MSBA). She received her JD from the Seattle University School of Law in 2007 and entered private practice in 2008. Charity owned her firm for five years, where she helped families resolve disputes, make end of life plans, and actualize those plans. In 2013 she joined the Washington State Bar Association’s Law Office Management Assistance Program as a practice management advisor. She moved to Baltimore and joined the MSBA September 2016. Her passion is helping lawyers become better business owners. Charity is the Chair of the ABA Law Practice Division’s State and Local Bar Outreach Board, on the Law Practice Magazine Board, and a regular contributor to MSBA publications.
