The ABA Commission on Lawyer Assistance Programs is accepting proposals for its 2020 National Conference for Lawyer Assistance Programs to be held October 20-22, 2020, in Springfield, Massachusetts until Friday, January 31, 2020.
You can now submit a program, topic, or speaker proposal to be considered for the 2020 National Conference at the Tower Square Hotel in Springfield, Massachusetts. We’re so excited to welcome a national event to Massachusetts relevant to the work we do here to advance well-being in the legal profession, and addressing corresponding challenges to same such as addiction, other impairments, stress, burnout, vicarious trauma, anxiety, depression and mental illness etc.
This conference provides a great opportunity for speakers to connect with important work, learn, and teach. Specific benefits include:
- Speakers will receive complimentary conference registration which does not include paid events or meals.
- Promotion of speaker’s name and credentials on CoLAP’s Conference website, in our conference app, and in all electronic and print marketing materials, where appropriate.
- Recognition of speaker’s expertise by colleagues and other professionals.
- Networking opportunities.
Information on the Conference Audience: The Conference is attended by staff or volunteer professionals of state, local or international lawyer assistance programs, lawyers, clinicians, treatment providers, judges, law school deans or professional services administrators, law students, regulators, and representatives of legal employers.
