At the end of this week, and after nearly eight years, I bid farewell to LCL and LOMAP.

Next week, I will begin work as the Director of the SJC Standing Committee on Lawyer Well-Being. I won’t be far, just down the street from LCL (or, virtual street for now). I am excited for this new challenge and potential impact the work of the Committee in collaboration with LCL and others will have on attorneys around the Commonwealth. I’m looking forward to continuing to work with my LCL colleagues to extend the support that they provide to attorneys, law students, judges, legal professionals, and their families.

Right now, our world feels out of control and it is unclear what the future will hold. What I do know is that we, the Standing Committee and LCL, are committed to working with you to improve your well-being, so that you can find satisfaction and enjoyment in your work, make impactful and positive contributions to justice and the rule of law, and feel proud of the career you chose.

To reach me in my new role, you can send an email to heidi@lawyerwellbeingma.org. I would love to hear from you at any point.

Stay safe, strong, and healthy,

Heidi
