Introductory Interview

Question 1: Among all the places you’ve lived and traveled, what is one place you’d wish to return to most frequently?
Without a doubt I’d go back to Paris again and again. I visited as a kid and studied in Aix en Provence for a year in college. When I was a teenager, I thought I was going to do merchandise marketing in Paris because I ardently loved fashion.

Question 2: Having moved here from southern California, what is your favorite time of year in Boston?
My favorite time of year is when we know that Winter is definitely over. It’s breezy enough for a light jacket, but not too hot. Plus, eating at restaurants outdoors is great.

Question 3: What is your favorite way to relax and reenergize?
Since most (if not all) of the work day consists of using my mind, I enjoy mindless activities to wind down. A good game of basketball at the gym or creating music usually does the trick.

Question 4: As a talented musician, what songs top your current setlist or playlist?
Robert Glasper is my all time inspiration. Currently, I’m listening to Kaytranada and Lucky Daye.

Question 5: What are you looking forward to most about joining LCL | Mass LOMAP?
During private practice, there were many things that went very well and plenty of setbacks. I’m looking forward to helping lawyers make smart moves and avoid common pitfalls.

Question 6: Given your experience managing your own law practice, what is the best piece of advice – personal, professional, or both – you can think of to share with lawyers who manage
their own firms?
The best thing you can do is control your mindset. When you are managing your own practice, you are the business. Therefore, the way you feel, think, process life’s happenings – all shows up in your business. How you do one thing is how you do everything. A healthy life yields a healthy business and vice versa. I’d make things right with your spouse, kids, business partners. Get professional help if you’re struggling. I want to to see you all succeed!
