Law practice management is just one unique challenge solo and small firm lawyers face. As you may know, our organization offers free and confidential advice on law practice management and support for solo and small firm stress — and we’re not the only source for help.
The Massachusetts Bar Association operates a member section for Solo/Small Firm Law Practice Management — and is seeking input to plan how they can help more. The Solo/Small Firm Law Practice Management Section combines two previous sections in the MBA — the Law Practice Management Section and the Solo/Small Firm Section.
This brief survey will assist the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Solo/Small Firm Law Practice Management Section Council (SF Section Council) in planning the future course and mission of the section. All responses are anonymous, but you will have the option of including your contact information at the conclusion of the survey. Please only submit your answers once.
The SF Section Council wants to energize the section and transform it into a group that you, as a lawyer or professional responsible for the business outcomes of your law firm, will find highly valuable. In short, the SF Section wants to become your “must join” group — and needs your help.

The survey asks you to identify in what areas you need more information, whether you feel the need to expand your network, what you identify as primary and ancillary purposes of the section, whether you like the section name, what would make it easier for you to attend more programs, and what programs you’ve found helpful.
