Talk to the Hill for Civil Legal Aid (Equal Justice Coalition Event)

Civil legal aid is an essential service. Since 1999, the Equal Justice Coalition has advocated for state funding for civil legal aid organizations that provide advice and representation to low‑income people facing serious civil legal issues. The EJC’s annual Walk to the Hill for Civil Legal Aid draws hundreds of lawyers, law students, and advocates to the Massachusetts State House to support this cause. This year our event is online, and the need for civil legal aid is greater than ever, as the COVID crisis threatens the health, safety, financial stability, and well‑being of low‑income residents.
