Join us for the fourth program of the “Amplifying Unheard Voices” series, which seeks to highlight and amplify historically underrepresented perspectives of attorneys, clients and communities that engage with the legal system regularly, and to move towards more equitable representation of and opportunities for these communities.

This discussion in the series will focus on amplifying the perspectives of transgender, non-binary, and gender nonconforming attorneys, organizers and advocates of color.  Our previous programs focused on (1) the Black male perspective in the Massachusetts legal profession (available here), (2) the Black female perspective in the Massachusetts legal profession (available here), and (3) the perspectives of Black and Latinx users of Massachusetts courts (available here ).

Conversations in this program will include what allies can do to meaningfully foster equity and inclusion for trans and gender non-conforming people of color, in both the legal profession and in the community at-large.

The Amplifying Unheard Voices series is a critical part of the BBA’s mission to advance diversity, equity & inclusion in the Boston legal community.

If you have any questions on this event or any future event in this series, please reach out to Doug Newton at dnewton@bostonbar.org.
