Do you plan to sit for the bar exam this fall? The Massachusetts Bar Association, in collaboration with the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association, the Boston Lawyers Group, the Massachusetts Association of Hispanic Attorneys, and the Supreme Judicial Court Standing Committee on Lawyer Well-Being, is proud to offer a FREE program series to support law school graduates who face unprecedented uncertainty this year as they prepare for the new, remotely administered bar exam and the start of their legal careers.

The virtual sessions will offer strategies for success on the exam, as well as tips for navigating the pressures and anxieties that many law school graduates are experiencing this year due to the pandemic and other challenges.

Session II: Managing Stress and Maintaining Focus
Feeling anxious, isolated or overwhelmed while preparing for the bar? You’re not alone. Join us for a panel discussion about mental health concerns, including the effect that COVID-19 and civil unrest may be having on students who are preparing for the bar exam.

Participants will receive useful resources and tips on how to:

  • Remain focused
  • Manage stress
  • Implement self-care
  • Strengthen emotional intelligence during this unprecedented time

This session will be hosted using Zoom. Registration is required by 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 10, to participate in this program. After you register with the MBA, please look for an email from MassBar Education with the Webinar ID and Password. The email will be sent after 10 a.m. on Sept. 10.
