Please join the Massachusetts Black Lawyers Association for a CORI Records training conducted by Attorney Crispin Birnbaum, Access to Justice Fellow, and City of Boston’s Project Opportunity partner via the Lawyer’s Clearinghouse. All volunteer attorneys who will participate in the CORI Sealing and Expungement Virtual Clinics must attend this training.
The CORI records training date is 10/16 at 8:30am-10:30am and will be conducted by Attorney Crispin Birnbaum, Access to Justice Fellow, and City of Boston’s Project Opportunity partner via the Lawyer’s Clearinghouse. All volunteer attorneys who will participate in the CORI Sealing and Expungement Virtual Clinics must attend this training. The training will be recorded and available afterward, but the live virtual training is highly recommended.
The Project Opportunity Virtual CORI Sealing and Expungement Clinic dates are 10/22 and 12/3 from 3:30 – 6pm. At least 12 attorneys for each clinic are needed. The attorneys will be paired off and will see two clients together in each clinic – one client from 4pm-5pm, and then another from 5pm-6pm.
