We are excited to finally, formally announce that we recently welcomed Susan Letterman White, JD, MS, as our newest Law Practice Advisor!

Before joining LOMAP, Susan led Letterman White Consulting as its founder and Managing Partner and before that she practiced employment law and was the Managing Partner of a law firm. Susan grew up in Beverly, MA, moved to LA and then settled in Philly, where she raised two children and practiced law for over 20 years. She was lucky enough to be able to return to Boston a few years ago. She received a Master’s in Organization Development with Academic Distinction from American University, a JD from Loyola Law School, and a BA in Philosophy from Brandeis University.
In addition to her work for LOMAP, Susan is an adjunct professor at Northeastern University, where she teaches leadership, strategic change, and communication skills and also the owner and designer of LWC Online Professional Development. Susan has been working with lawyers and law firms as a coach and consultant to improve leadership and management, organizational and team performance, communication and conflict management, and marketing and business development for over 10 years. She has designed and facilitated training and coaching programs for law firms, consulting firms, governmental agencies, universities, and chemical and pharmaceutical companies. She has received advance group facilitation training from NTL Institute, coaching training from Harvard Medical School, and is certified in the MBTI, Korn Ferry Leadership Architect, and Korn Ferry Voice 360ᴼ assessments. She uses her expertise to identify strategy problems and solutions and in facilitating group discussions among organizational stakeholders that have the power to cause a strategic change initiative to succeed or fail.
Susan regularly publishes and speaks nationally and internationally. Recent keynotes responding to change in the legal profession include NALP Foundation (Dallas, October 2015) and Operations Leaders in Legal Conference (London, November 2015). She is on the editorial board for Law Firm Partnership and Benefits Report, an American Legal Media (ALM) publication. Past speaking engagements have been for the Massachusetts Bar Association, American Bar Association, Association of Legal Administrators, Pennsylvania Bar Association, and Legal Marketing Association. Susan is the chair of the Massachusetts Bar Law Practice Management Section, Vice-chair of the ABA Law Practice Division Lawyer Leadership and Management Committee, and Education Co-Chair of the Boston Bar Association’s Diversity and Inclusion Section. She is also a past council member of the American Bar Association’s Law Practice Division and chair of ABA Women Rainmakers.
