The ABA’s Legal Technology Resource Center just honored 15 new “Women of Legal Tech”. Find out who’s joining the ranks — now 100 strong — and what they’re working on!

LTRC’s Women of Legal Tech initiative is intended to encourage diversity and celebrate women in legal technology. One of the American Bar Association’s core values is a commitment to diversity, which the Law Practice Division aims to reinforce in the legal tech sector. From tech founders and CEOs to small business owners, women are making a big impact on legal tech in every field. The LTRC Board selected from over a hundred nominations this year.

Here are brief profiles of this year’s honorees! If you know someone who should be represented next year, watch for nomination time in early 2020.

March 8th is International Women’s Day, and there are plenty of women in the legal profession to celebrate. Rachael Rollins and Pamela Everhart are being honored with Trailblazer Awards less than a week from now at this year’s MBLA Gala at the Cyclorama. Tickets sold out but there’s no doubt there will be amazing trailblazers to celebrate at their event next year.

This year’s 15 honorees join 85 other Women of Legal Tech. Heidi Alexander — LCL | Mass LOMAP’s own Deputy Director created the honor in 2015 with Law Technology Today. Honorees were announced at the Women of Legal Tech Summit, associated with ABA TECHSHOW. Nominate next year and join them in Chicago to celebrate!

Heidi also runs SuperMom: Support for Lawyers, on the last Wednesday each month. It’s Free & Confidential — sign up here, and attend when you can. The group meets at noon in Boston and by phone. In Boston, we feed you lunch.
